Show number of combined windows like XP
In XP and Vista, the total number of combined windows was shown. Windows 7 Milestone 2 also showed it but it was removed for some reason.

Set Always-On-Top as Jump List Item
add an option to set a window to stay always-on-top into the jump lists (preferably just above the pin/unpin from taskbar item)

Add an option to remove extra spacing from the tray/notification area.
I think it would be a great idea to add an option that removes all of the extra spacing between the icons in the tray/notification area. With the option selected, the amount of spacing in the tray would return to that of the previous versions of Windows.

Prevent right-click from bringing window into focus when Standard window menu is selected.
I'd find it very convenient if I could go back to the standard window menu but still be able to right-click a taskbar button and close it without the window coming into focus. Thank you for creating such a useful program :)

Switch Pinned and Recent on Explorer jumplist
So mouse is closer to pinned items rather than recent items.

Improve vertical taskbar
I like my taskbar vertical. In previous versions of windows, when there was too many buttons to display, it would put them into two (or more) columns. In windows 7, it instead creates a horrible scrollbar which you must use to switch between views.
Could the old multiple-column layout be restored?46 votes -
Drag to rearrange grouped applications by thumbnail
Enable dragging to rearrange grouped applications. Ex. If I have three Word documents open, I can drag the thumbnail of the open instances to be a different order (without using the taskbar inspector)

disable jump list
When you click on a taskbar button for an open program and move your mouse upwards, it pops up the jump list. It would be great to have an option to disable this feature, as there is no built-in to Windows option to do it.

choosing taskbar color
choosing taskbar band color and taskbar icon box color separately
There are some tries at getting this done, but available programs don't really work well. Such a software will really be a hit since this is arguably the most common complaint about W7.35 votes -
Unmute with scroll wheel
Hi. Please put an option. More difficult to open with the middle button. Thanks.

Minimize by dragging middle button
This, currently, is redundant with left button dragging; brings up a jump list.
It would be more useful to have it minimize a window/grouped-windows.29 votes -

Add an option to use the old button organization (multirow taskbar)
When we have two or more rows of space in the taskbar, the buttons in the taskbar are not well organized
In WIN XP the taskbar buttons are kept exactly the same size, and this keeps buttons exactly aligned.
In WIN 7 the size buttons are messy when we have more rows in taskbar and lots of windows opened

Tweak icon's size on Double-click
I would like to have an option that, doing double-click on an empty space of the taskbar, the pinned icons change to other size available.
i.e.
If the taskbar shows icons in big size, when I do double-click on the taskbar, the icons set to small size view.
And, If the taskbar shows icons in small size, when I do double-click on the taskbar, the icons set to big size view.12 votes
