    The notifications that pop up from systray icons, that kind: http://i.msdn.microsoft.com/dynimg/IC116410.gif. I do not want to turn them off in general or for some apps, I just want to avoid that bug where dozens of old notifications that I already closed long ago pop up again (its not application specific, they pop up for all apps again one after the other when it happens).
