    I strongly agree with this. Everything in Windows 7's taskbar is taller. In addition to the systray icons, taskbar buttons and quick launch buttons are also taller, signicantly reducing the number of items one can have in the same amount of space. Things seem to be almost 50% taller on Windows 7; a two row taskbar in Win7 takes up nearly as much space as a three row classic taskbar from XP.

    This would be a wonderful change. The Windows 7 multirow taskbar feels very messy because each row has its own button width.
